Flowers in the mail
We have only so many minutes in the day, time is relative and passes by so fast and really every moment we have is precious. Yet how many of the moments do we actually spend doing things that brighten the lives of those around us. It's not expensive and it's not hard and can actually be quite contagious. It just requires opening our selves up to those around us who need us. Yesterday, I received a hand picked rose mailed in a #10 envelope from a dear friend and the simplicity in the sentiment absolutely made my day. Not only did it make my day -  it inspired me to take some photos and write about how wonderful it was. I hope I can brighten up some one's day today because this is really what it's about. Now lets just hope the post office stays in business because .44 for the price of a stamp is really a good deal for the kinda of joy mail could bring.
